Diethylpropion tablets are indicated in the therapy of obesity as an effective short-term adjunct (no more 3 months, usually 2-6 weeks) in a regiment of weight reduction based on caloric restriction.

Diethylpropion is an amphetamine that stimulates neurons to release or maintain high levels of a particular group of neurotransmitters (catecholamines); these include dopamine and norepinephrine. High levels of these catecholamines tend to suppress hunger signals and appetite.

How to use Diethylpropione Oral

The usual Diethylpropion dosage is one 25mg tablet 3 times a day, 1 hour before meals; you may take 1 tablet in the middle of the evening, if you want, to overcome night hunger.

Diethylpropione Missed Dose

Take the missed dose of Diethylpropion as soon as you remember. Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Diethylpropion may cause dizziness, blurred vision, or restlessness, and it may hide the symptoms of extreme tiredness. If you experience these effects, avoid hazardous activities.
